Mayor Anno Wietze Hiemstra of Aa and Hunze forced Always Care to stop care for clients at ‘t Ruige Veld in Rolde at the end of 2019. There were indications that hard and soft drugs were used and traded, that employees had relationships with residents and that clients who received care were also used as care providers, as so-called ‘experience experts’.
