Turkey Deaf Women’s Volleyball Team won the gold medal by defeating Italy 3-1 in the final at the Summer Olympics held in Brazil.
Turkey Deaf Women’s Volleyball Team managed to win the gold medal in the Olympics after the world championship. Facing Italy in the final at the 24th Deaf Summer Olympics held in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, the national team defeated their opponent 3-1 and won the gold medal.

Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu congratulated the Turkish Deaf Women’s Volleyball National Team, which defeated Italy in the 24th Deaf Summer Olympic Games and became the champion.
