The surprise for the fans was perfect: the dead trousers announced a concert in the legendary Ratinger Hof in Düsseldorf. The club, in which her career began in the 1980s, is quite small: only around 300 fans can be there. The crowd was correspondingly large when the cards were to be sold on Wednesday afternoon (August 27th) via the official web shop of the band. But many fans only saw the sobering message: sold out – and some of them a second after the official start of advance at 5 p.m.
The dead trousers explain: ticket bots have struck
Now the band spends itself. In a statement on social media, the pants write: “As expected, the tickets were out of print within seconds. Unfortunately, there was a massive attack by bots, i.e. automated systems that bought tickets illegally.” Although they reacted immediately and the affected cards were blocked, but how many tickets that concern did not reveal the band.
It is planned that the admission tickets are exhibited as print@home tickets. These should be exchanged for tickets on the concert evening from 7 p.m. together with a valid ID at the cash register. They are personalized and not transferable.
Next attempt starts soon
There is still good news for fans who have left empty: on Wednesday (September 3rd) at 5 p.m., there should be a new pre -sale attempt. “We are currently working on a solution that Bots & Fraudsters keep outside,” the dead pants promise. Details should be announced at short notice.
In the comments, many fans are relieved that the problem has been recognized. Because in the comment columns it seems to have already been discussed wildly whether you only imagine everything. Some also make suggestions on how to avoid the unwanted ticket trade completely in the future. One person comments on the pants post on Facebook: “Everyone who wrote yesterday, so something was wrong. My proposal love pants. Make a pre-sale on site. Ticket against money. Everyone only gets a ticket. And in front of the Ratinger Hof is already a party in the evening. So I would certainly be interested because of the distance.”
