If dipping does not appear, you can watch it from here.
Eithhun’s background is also known to the organizers of the festival.
Do you think this kind of attachment is ok?
– He has suffered a sentence given by society for his actions. I have not come to the awareness that he thinks today, says Törrönen.
The performance of the band sparked a lot of discussion during the Hellfest metal festival in France while the French Mediapart told me Eithhun’s background.
Eithhun is not known to clearly regret his crime.
– Everyone would benefit from being in prison. I still have the same old “sink and die” mentality I have always had. Now it’s just a more conscious attitude, Eithun told me in 1998 In an interview with chaos.
He has not regretted his act in public. Isn’t this a bit problematic?
– No. He has been sitting on his judgment. I think once you have been sitting on your sentence, you have suffered a punishment for you. If all the prison sentences still had to be suffered after them, then wouldn’t prison have to be lifelong?
Hellsinki Metal Fest tells about its website want to provide everyone with a positive and friendly environment. Bullying, violence, or hate speech is not allowed at festivals.
How does this reflect on your festival values?
– For example, all performers, working here and customers are committed to and complying with the principle of equality.
So do you also demand equality from performers?
-Yes.
Has Faust (Eithun) commented on anything about this?
-No.
Törrönen points out that Eithhun’s performance has not caused a problem among other bands at the festival. According to him, some of the festival performers are very precise about who they perform with.
