And the volunteers from both stores have found each other completely, because there is quite a bit of overlap with these two. For example, sustainability is an important theme in both businesses and the stores are not commercial and run entirely on volunteers.
It was a bit of an adjustment for De Cirkel, explains Nicole Meijer of the store. “The space is a bit smaller than our previous location, so we had to downsize a bit. But we’re fine with it. It’s going well, it’s become a cozy little shop.”
