Alejandro Balde will experience a special day on Sunday: he will train for the first time as an absolute international, in full preparation for the World Cup, a few days after his debut, and shortly after he will speak to the media to offer his impressions as a newcomer.
The Barça footballer, born in Barcelona (his father is from Guinea-Bissau and his mother from the Dominican Republic) 19 years ago, was called up for the World Cup after confirming the loss of José Luis Gayà, due to a sprained ankle.
Balde was summoned with the sub-21, but as soon as he received the call from Luis Enrique, he left the concentration of La Rojita in Seville, flew to Barcelona and from there, to Doha.
He arrived in the Qatari capital on Saturday, shortly after noon, where he was received by RFEF employees who accompanied him to the headquarters of the Spanish concentration.
For Sunday, it is planned that Bucket exercises for the first time with his teammatesat 10.30 am (two hours less in Spain).
Subsequently, Balde will appear before the media in Qatar, starting at 12:15 p.m.
