The Bad Guy 2 where to see it
The Bad Guy 2 goes on air from 8 January in the late evening on Rai 2 (two episodes at a time; 6 in total). This second season confirms the quality of one series capable of mixing drama and humor bordering on the absurd without losing credibility. The result is a second season even more compelling than the first. The direction by Giancarlo Fontana and Giuseppe G. Stasi is not afraid to push the accelerator of the narrative with continuous twists and changes of register.
This keeps the viewer’s attention very keen. It matters little if the very daring plot occasionally loses its thread with the true or plausible. The central issue is that the long war between the Mafia and the State is not made up of pure blacks and whites, bad on one side and good on the other.
The gray areas and role ambiguities, both among the institutions and among the underworld, they are the unpredictable evil from which everyone should defend themselves. And, in a fictional story, they are much more fascinating than dull heroes and monotonous villains.

The cast and the novelty Stefano Accorsi
The strength of The Bad Guy 2, in addition to a great script and brilliant dialogue, it is in that cast where it is the protagonists and supporting actors give their best. Luigi Lo Cascio confirms himself as a perfect interpretercredible even in the nonsense moments, with a touch of humanity which has dotted all the characters of his long career.
Nino/Balduccio is torn apart not only by the desire for revenge but by the fear of discovering his wife’s possible involvement. Antonio Catania certainly does not go unnoticed (Boris, the series) and Aldo Baglio of the well-known trio Aldo Giovanni and Giacomo. The two actors, best known for brilliant and comedic roles, here they carve out two credible roles as very bad guys.
In the end, the new entry of the second season, Stefano Accorsi. With an unlikely blonde hair and manners Mission Impossible Italian style, he amazes with his self-deprecating ability with which he manages to restore lightness and spirit to a profile that gradually turns out to be even more dangerous than the criminals around him.
