Popular How I Met Your Mother – comedy series actor Nick Pasquale the makeup artist of his ex-girlfriend has been sentenced to prison by Allie Shehorn for attempted murder.
He was sentenced on June 2 to a minimum of 32 years in prison, after which he can apply for parole.
According to prosecutors, Pasqual broke into the victim’s home around 4:30 a.m. in California and stabbed him more than 20 times. The act took place on May 23, 2024.
Pasqual fled the scene and tried to enter Mexico, but was apprehended after the incident at a border patrol checkpoint in Texas.
Shehorn was found at the scene by a family member and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He had to undergo 14 hours of surgery and spent almost a week in intensive care after the attack. He received deep cuts on his neck, hands and stomach in the attack.
Pasqual apologized for his actions, but the judge questioned the authenticity of the apology. The judge did not believe that the remorse was genuine, as he had heard Pasquali make fun of Shehorn in a phone call to a friend.
Pasqual was found guilty of attempted murder, rape, burglary and domestic violence.
Before the attempted murder, Shehorn had applied for a restraining order against Pasquali.
In addition to his role How I Met Your Mother -series, Pasqual has acted in several indie films. He has been involved in films, among other things Poor Paul, Abundant Sunshine and A Demon’s Destiny: The Lone Warrior.
