Rod Stewart has been open for the first time about the break with his former neighbor in Florida, the US President Donald Trump, expressed.
Rod Stewart said that he once knew Trump “very, very good” and spent the two of them a lot of time when they almost lived on the door in Florida (“literally half a mile removed”). “I was often in his house,” said Stewart. “We both live on the beach. I was on his Christmas celebrations.”
“He was always a bit a guy guy”
One point that Stewart at Trump estimated: “He was always a bit a guy guy.” But he immediately pushed a restriction: “As far as I can judge, he did not treat women very well.” Trump has changed fundamentally since his presidency. “He has become a different type. Someone that I no longer know.”
The former friendship is no longer durable for Stewart-especially because of Trump’s role in the Gaza War and arms deliveries to Israel by the United States (and also Great Britain).
Stewart: “What Netanyahu does with the Palestinians is annihilation”
“As long as he still sells weapons to the Israelis – and he does – how should this war ever end?” Says Stewart. “And we [Großbritannien] should also stop selling them … what [Israels Premierminister Benjamin] Netanyahu does the Palestinian, is exactly what happened to the Jews. It is annihilation, and that’s exactly what he wants – you all get rid of them. I don’t understand how you can sleep at night. “
