Thai arrested for allegedly poisoning nine people | Abroad

A tenth victim survived the poisoning, according to a police spokesman. “The suspect went to dinner with a tenth woman, but she vomited and survived. She is also the wife of a police officer.” Thai media reports that the woman had a bottle of cyanide in her pocket when she was arrested.

Investigators believe money was the motive for the murders. The suspect denies all allegations.

She was first suspected in the death of a friend in Ratchaburi province two weeks ago. After her interrogation, the link was made to other poisonings in Kanchanaburi and Nakhon Pathom.
