Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Board of Directors, Trendyol 1th League falling and Nesine 2nd League went to change the number of teams coming out.
According to the statement made by the Federation, as a result of the opinions of the 1. and 2nd League clubs in the 2025-2026 season with 20 teams played Trendyol 1. League 1 fell from 5 to 4, while the number of 37 teams played with 37 teams.
2 of the 4 teams that will rise directly, 2 of them will be determined as a result of play-off competitions.
After the change in the status Trendyol 1th League next season, instead of 18, Nesine 2nd League 38 instead of 38 will consist of 36 teams.
