Renata Zarazúa is currently taking part in the Hobart International in Australia. She has an unpleasant experience on site – and shares it on social media.
Tennis player Renata Zarazua has attracted attention with a shocking picture. The Mexican published a photo of herself in her story on Instagram, which mainly shows her back. Large parts of it, especially the shoulders and shoulder blades, are bright red.
Zarazúa apparently suffered severe sunburn. The 28-year-old wrote about the picture: “The Australian sun is no joke.” She accompanied the words with a sad emoji.
In Australia, the world number 84 is currently taking part in the Hobart International, a women’s tennis tournament on the WTA Tour. On Wednesday (around 3:40 a.m. Central European time) she will meet the American Iva Jovic in the round of 16.
The Hobart International is the preparation tournament for the Australian Open. The first Grand Slam of the year starts on January 18th in Melbourne. Last year, Zarazúa failed in the second round of the Australian Open.
