The satellite line-up of the Japanese brand presents liveries and riders for 2026. All eyes are on the Turkish Superbike champion: “2026 will be a year of apprenticeship. In 2027 there will be new rules and it could be more favourable”. Borsoi: “We want to grow further”
2026 has officially begun for the Prima Pramac Yamaha team. At the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Paolo Campinoti’s team presented the livery of the M1 and the new drivers. Compared to last season, the colors on the fairings do not change, always dominated by purple. Also confirmed is the Australian Jack Miller, in his second year with this team. The big news is represented by Toprak Razgatlioglu, outgoing Superbike champion, where he won three world titles. Fans await his debut, but the 29-year-old Turk preaches calm.

Razgatlioglu does not hide his emotion: “This dream has become reality. It was the right decision.” Then he promises: “I will do my best every weekend, as always.” At the same time he sets his goals: “I will need time to adapt to the bike and understand the limits. It’s not easy for me, it’s a big challenge. 2026 will be a year of apprenticeship. In 2027 the regulations will change and it could be more favorable for me, but we don’t know yet…”. The Turkish driver will use the number 7. Next to him is Miller. The Australian, 30, appears satisfied: “Working closely with Yamaha has been pleasant. We are focused on development.”

Paolo Campinoti, team principal, recalls the 25 years of participation in the MotoGP: “It’s not a few. It’s a quarter of a century”. Then he adds: “We are proud of the journey we started last year with Yamaha. This year we have more experience. We and Yamaha have the same ambition. We are motivated. I hope Miller can show his potential. Razgatlioglu is making his debut, but he has already shown what he can do in Superbike”. Gino Borsoi, team director, has clear ideas: “We want to make the team grow further. It won’t be an easy year, but there is a good atmosphere. Miller knows the environment. Razgatlioglu is talented and will face the transition from Superbike to MotoGP. Having two such different riders can help us grow the bike. It will be important to be able to bring Yamaha back to the top”.

Pramac also presented the lineup involved in Moto2. The livery of the motorbike changes compared to 2025: next to blue, the dominant colour, white appears to replace black. There is also news among the riders: alongside Izan Guevara, Moto3 world champion in 2022 and already present in the team, there will be rookie Alberto Ferrandez. Alex De Angelis, team manager, explains his feelings: “The whole team is ready to fight in Moto2. Guevara concluded 2025 with a victory. I expect him to grow further and be one of the best every weekend. Ferrandez, on the other hand, is very young, but he is talented. I will work to help him in his growth.” Guevara appears confident: “I trained in all conditions. I learned a lot from last season, I built a good base.” Ferrandez, however, has other goals: “I want to learn as many things as possible. I’m grateful for this opportunity.”
