In July, the former world number two Ons Jabeur announced that she was taking a break from professional tennis, and now the Tunisian has announced that she is pregnant.
“The court will have to wait a little longer because soon… we will welcome our smallest teammate,” Jabeur wrote on an Instagram video of herself and her husband Karim Kamoun.
In it, the couple presents a mini tennis racket and a white tennis baby bodysuit; their son is due to be born in April 2026.
Before announcing her break from tennis, the three-time Grand Slam finalist had endured two difficult years on the WTA tour. Her career highlights so far came when she reached the final at Wimbledon in 2022 and 2023 and at the US Open in 2022.
