Telstar player Yaël Liesdek will be out of circulation for at least six months

Telstar football player Yaël Liesdek is out for a longer period of time. Last Friday he tore off his Achilles tendon in the duel with ADO Den Haag (3-1 defeat).

Recovery takes between six and eight months. The footballer came in the match against ADO Den Haag in the 78th minute in the field and was forced to leave in injury time.

It is not easy for the talented Liesdek. The Amsterdammer has been playing at Telstar since 2020, but he has not been able to play many matches due to several serious injuries. Liesdek could not be reached for comment today. Telstar itself does not make any statements about injuries.

Broken nose

Özgür Aktas also dropped out last Friday. The central defender broke his nose due to an elbow strike from Xander Severina. It is not yet known whether Aktas can play against Jong Ajax on Friday.

After the defeat against ADO Den Haag, Telstar coach Mike Snoei was furious with the arbitration and very upset about Aktas and Liesdek’s injuries.
