Telstar attacker Christos Giousis has to watch two games

Telstar has to do without attacker Christos Giousis for the next two games. The Greek top scorer of the first division club has been suspended by the KNVB for three games, one of which is conditional.

Giousis got in last Friday’s game against Helmond Sport (2-2) the red card for foul kicking. Telstar says they have accepted the sentence and will not appeal. Due to his suspension, Giousis will be missing in the home game against TOP Oss and in the away game against ADO Den Haag.

AEK Athens

The 24-year-old Giousis came over from AEK Athens this summer, where he played in the reserves team. In Velsen South he signed a two-year contract at the end of August. So far, the attacker has played in 27 matches for Telstar and scored seven times.
