Telstar assistant Anthony Correia passed trainer course

Anthony Correia has successfully completed the UEFA Pro training of the KNVB. This means that the 41-year-old Velserbroeker can now independently lead a professional football club. Correia is currently an assistant coach at Telstar.

Correia had to complete a number of assignments in combination with a final interview. He did this successfully and as a result he passed the highest trainer’s diploma.

Correia is currently head coach at Katwijk in the second division. He has been at the helm since 2020 and has been champion for the past two seasons. Correia previously worked at VV IJmuiden, VVH/Velserbroek and Odin’59 from Heemskerk.

In addition to being head coach at Katwijk, Correia is an assistant coach at Telstar. Last season he was already responsible once when Mike Snoei was suspended. Between 2001 and 2016, Correia played more than 350 official matches for The White Lions.
