Tedi expands to France

The Dortmund retail chain Tedi is expanding into France.

Today the company opened its first French store in Évreux, in Normandy, Tedi announced on Wednesday. There, Tedi offers its range on a sales area of ​​1000 square meters.

“Following our successful start in Bulgaria in March of this year, we are continuing to expand Tedi’s presence in Europe with our market entry in France,” said Silvan Wohlfarth, CEO of Tedi. “We would like to thank everyone who has supported us in this groundbreaking project. But we are also proud to have strengthened trade and created new jobs in our important neighboring country France.”

Tedi sees a potential of more than 2,000 branches on the French market. In total, the company operates more than 2,900 locations and employs more than 31,500 people in 14 European countries. In addition to Germany, France and Bulgaria, Tedi is also represented in Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Croatia, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Portugal.
