Taylor Swift is one of the most googled personalities of 2022. No other musician’s name has been entered so many times in the Google search engine line in the USA.
Of course, that’s not surprising, since it was once again a Taylor Swift year. First it caused rumors about a new album for a long time, then “Midnights” came (and in a very short time in different versions) and finally was flanked by a monstrous tour announcement.
It doesn’t get any more attention than that. Probably just looking for tickets for her shows, when Ticketmaster initially canceled the advance sale due to the unbelievable amount of requests, would have been enough to get Swift at least into the top 10 of the most googled musicians.

The celebrity site “CelebTattler” also has concrete numbers. Their study analyzed Google search data for a broad spectrum of popular musicians since January 1, 2022. It found that Taylor Swift is googled at an average rate of 2,100,400 times per month. Harry Styles came in a close second with 2,090,300 average monthly searches, and the perpetually polarizing Kanye West made it to third place with 2,050,100 average monthly searches.
Incidentally, Travis Scott was the second most searched rapper, while the rest of the top ten is rounded out with Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Dua Lipa.
