The stalker wanted to gain entry to Swift’s house, but was discovered in time.

On January 20th, a man allegedly tried to gain access to Taylor Swift’s home in New York – but was unsuccessful. The police were able to arrest him on site for violating privacy. According to media reports, this is said to be a stalker of the 34-year-old singer.

Not the man’s first offense

Police received a 911 call reporting that an unknown person was attempting to illegally enter a private residence on Franklin Street. In one official statement The officer said: “When police arrived at the scene, they were informed that the individual had attempted to open a door to a building at the location. An investigation revealed that the individual had an active warrant for his arrest and he was taken into custody.” The man had previously received a court summons in 2017, which he did not respond to. He was now led away in handcuffs.

Why exactly Swift’s suspected stalker should have been imprisoned long ago has not yet been made public. A specific plan for Swift’s house also remains unclear.
