A taxi bus caught fire on the A73 highway at Sambeek on Monday morning. The van is completely destroyed by the fire. Nobody was injured.
The fire brigade was quickly on site to extinguish the vehicle. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The highway was closed and this created a long traffic jam. Two lanes are still closed around a quarter past ten, a lane was then released again.
