Quentin Tarantino does not direct

According to the magazine “The Playlist”, the film corresponds to a project that has been announced for a long time. In 2023, Tarantino stated that the work title “The Movie Critic” works on a script – that he then rejected. It now turns out that the project developed in a different direction and did not become completely new. Apparently the filmmaker could “not lay down the pen and continued to explore Cliff Booth’s adventures.

Tenth film is still pending

Therefore, the planned sequel is not Quentin Tarantino’s last film. Technically speaking, this has made ten films so far, but he sees “Kill Bill: Volume 1” (2003) and “Kill Bill: Volume 2” (2004) as a working work. According to this, his next project would be the final piece, but the filmmaker creates a way out here again. Not only is a continuation of “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” a second part, he just doesn’t turn it himself.
