The message from the account attributed to the presidential advisor Santiago Caputotargeted the former official during the administration of Mauricio Macri. In her personal account, Eugenia Talerico herself answered: “From an alarming ignorance, Santiago Caputo. The Kirchnerists with whom you agreed on impunity for CFK gave you poor advice. I was Vice President of the UIF, I never had anything to do with the AFIP.”
Last Monday, the National Government disclosed the alleged existence within the former AFIP of a protection network for various businessmen linked to Kirchnerism, which blocked all access to key information of the companies of which they were owners. The payroll includes 51 company names or people who, supposedly, were added to the list of shielded taxpayers within the tax entity’s computer system.
In the report published by the newspaper Clarín, the organization had been operating since 2016 and among the names involved are those convicted as Alejandro Vandenbroele, sentenced for the Ciccone case, and Lazaro Baez, imprisoned for corruption in the Highways case, as detailed by journalist Bernardo Vázquez. Also included were politically connected people who received privileges on a discretionary basis. The indicated period corresponds to the management of Cambiemos and, at that time, the fiscal body was directed by officials Alberto Abad and Leandro Cuccioli.
The complete list of companies and people protected by the AFIP included Alucom Austral BRL, Martín Antonio Báez, Lázaro Antonio Báez, Kank y Costilla SA, Don Francisco Sociedad Anónima, La Estación Sociedad Anónima Loscalzo y Del Curto Construcciones SRL, Badial SA, Austral Construcciones SA, Valle Miter, IDEA SA, Los Sauces SA, Hotesur, Co Ma, Alcalis de la Patagonia, Oil Fuels, Casino Buenos Aires, Kamus SRL, Gotti SA, Electroingeniería SA, Herrera Daniel Osmar, Sanfelice Osvaldo José, Negocios Inmobiliarios SA, Hotel Waldorf SA, Negocios Patagónico SA, Carnero Santiago, Cifuentes Mario Víctor, Ciccone Nicolás Tadeo, Vandenbroele Alejandro Paul, inter alia.
