Table D’Hôtes brings people together around the table

The idea is simple. People with a migration background cook dishes from their homeland, which you can then taste in a homely atmosphere. The project is part of the Week of Taste. We joined Attia for a Pakistani meal.

Attia is participating for the fourth time as host during tables d’hotes. On the menu some typical dishes from Pakistan such as pakkora and samosa.

Kortrijk started the initiative sixteen years ago. Meanwhile, Kuurne and Harelbeke are also participating. It is a casual way to taste exotic dishes and learn something about the other culture.

The week of taste with tables d’hotes runs until Sunday, there are still pictures available for the weekend.
