Victoria and Daniel felt compelled to respond, as Swedish tabloids speak of adultery and an imminent divorce. “In normal cases, we don’t make statements about rumors and speculation. But to protect our family, we want to make it clear once and for all that the rumors circulating now are completely unfounded.”
Crown Princess Victoria is the eldest child of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia. She married Daniel on June 19, 2010. The couple has two children together.
