Suzanne Schulting failed to win a medal in the 1000 meters at the Short Track World Cup competition in Gdansk. The Frisian lost in the semi-final and was therefore forced to play in the B final. She won that, ahead of her compatriots Michelle Velzeboer and Diede van Oorschot. There was Dutch success in the 500 meters.
