Extremely violent clash at dawn on Sunday in Milan. One injured person is in very serious condition. The driver of the G-Class pretended to be a rescuer. The other driver tested positive for the narcotics test

A rented Mercedes G-Class hit an Opel Corsa. The accident occurred in Milan around 6.30 am on Sunday 16 November in viale Fulvio Testi at the intersection with via Esperia. Four people were injured, two of them in very serious conditions. The driver of the SUV does not have a license while the driver of the Opel tested positive in the first narcotic test: it will then be established with further toxicological tests whether the positivity is the result of taking drugs in the previous days or whether the driver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the collision.

the reconstruction

According to an initial reconstruction of the dynamics, carried out by local police officers, the off-road vehicle driven by a 20-year-old and with three other people on board was headed towards the center when, arriving at the intersection with Viale Esperia, it collided with the small car, driven by a 32-year-old who was coming from the left and was alone in the car. The 20-year-old from Milan was present on site at the time of the officers’ intervention. He said he got off a tram and provided assistance to justify his being covered in blood. However, following investigations with video surveillance, it was ascertained that the boy was not on the tram. Not only that: one of his shoes was also found inside the cockpit of the Mercedes. Therefore, as ordered by the prosecutor, having doubts about who was driving, the 20-year-old was transported to the Niguarda hospital where those who had provided initial treatment recognized him as the driver. The boy, without a driving license because he never obtained it, is available to the local police for investigations.

the wounded

As mentioned, three other people were in the G-Class with the 20-year-old: a 21-year-old transported to Niguarda in very serious conditions, operated on and hospitalized in intensive care with a reserved prognosis, a thirty-year-old who had been stuck and is now hospitalized with a reserved prognosis at the Polyclinic and a twenty-three-year-old taken to San Raffaele under yellow code. The driver of the Opel was also hospitalized under yellow code at Fatebenefratelli.
