Four migrants were detained on suspicion of a robbery at a supermarket in the vicinity of Istra, as a result of which store cashier fatally injuredreported in the Moscow Region Department of the TFR.
Attackers in black balaclavas crossed the threshold of “Pyaterochka” in the village of Novopetrovskoye at about 23:00 on February 8. They demanded to give them all the cash, but were refused, after which they began to beat the director of the supermarket, her husband and a 51-year-old saleswoman with baseball bats. The latter died from a traumatic brain injury.
After about 10 minutes, the raiders got to the safe and cash registers, from which they pulled out a total of 71,000 rubles. From the place they left by car, but were detained in hot pursuit in a neighboring village. The suspects turned out to be four natives of Tajikistan, now investigators are checking whether they were legally in Russia.
The injured director and her wife were hospitalized with multiple injuries.
