Iltalehti caught up with Eevi Teittinen to comment more on the background of her decision. The personal trainer said that he left the competition in the middle due to an “unclear pattern” related to his company’s operations.
– There was a problem with it and we tried to solve it at the same time that I was on set. It was completely impossible, so there was really no other choice but to go home, Teittinen tells Iltalehte.
Teittinen says that he was under the impression that the matter would have been resolved before the filming of The Box began. Teittinen, who lives in Kaarina, had to spend a week at a time in Helsinki during the filming of the program, which made it difficult to manage work patterns.
– This was a big and heavy thing that affected everything in my concentration, Teittinen says about his competition experience.
Teittinen admits that the suspension of the competition really upset him. On the other hand, it was also good for the mother of a 3-year-old child to return home after almost two weeks of separation.

With Teittinen’s announcement, Karita Tykkä was allowed to continue in the competition.
– I don’t really know what to think. I would have liked Eevi to have continued herself. Of course, if they want to give me that place. I’m excited to see what’s to come, Tykkä said in the episode.
