For a long time Amsterdam could not enjoy the equalizer. HV Hoorn took the lead again thanks to a flashy attack. This time newcomer Matz Mathot, who came over from FC Marlène, was the end station.
Amsterdam then started playing all-or-nothing, where the goalkeeper was exchanged for an extra field player. The risk was wrong, because just after the 2-3 Wassim conquered the ball on behalf of HV Hoorn, he shot it in the empty goal: 2-4. In the final minutes of the competition, the victory for the visitors was no longer in danger.
