The relationship with Jenny Slaten, 67, and Sumit Singh 37, has been full of drama. Now the mother -in -law is.
Jenny Slaten67, and Fuits singh 37, one of the first couples of the 90 days of the bride series, walks hand in hand in Delhi’s hustle and bustle, without curious eyes.
The couple has only been married for four years, but their common journey has been full of drama, whose twists and turns have followed around the world.
Now a new challenge has come again.
– The mother -in -law and Appi have moved with us to live. We only have one room where we can be at peace. There, too, the mother -in -law is buzzing without knocking first. It’s heavy, Jenny says.

A raging long distance relationship
Let’s go back in time.
It all started in 2011 when Jenny and Delhilän Sumit, California, began to communicate via Facebook. After a few months, the communication deepened into love, but neither could afford to travel to meet another.
The remote relationship continued until Jenny noticed an announcement in which the TV channel TLC searched for international couples in the 90 -day bride program.
The series told about the love stories of American and their foreign partners about the cultural differences and other challenges related to them. Since then, the series has become a global hit whose episodes have been filmed around the world.
The series was a lucky kick for both.
– Without the whole program, we would never have even met. Jenny had no money to travel to India, nor did I have the opportunity to go to the United States. When the show offered Jenny the opportunity to travel to India, he grabbed it right away, says Sumit.
Viewers have been able to follow the dramatic twists and turns of Sumit and Jenny since 2018, when Jenny first visited India.
– I didn’t know anything about India. I just knew I wanted to be with a spear, he says.

Rebellion against traditions
Tears and tooth tensioning were seen as soon as it became apparent that the family was against the couple’s marriage.
I spotted a mother who tears and raged openly in the program is Jenny four years younger and did not accept her son’s plans to marry Jenny at all. In addition, the Sumit was already married as the parents had forced him to marry.
The couple decided to continue the relationship I spotted despite the opposition of parents and relatives.
In India, the relationship model is very traditional. Unions between different cases and religions are hardly accepted. The big age differences between couples are rare and the organized marriages are common.
It is also common for many generations to live under one roof. I spear my mother decided to move with her son to live from the beginning of the year.
Now there is enough drama in everyday life.
– I’m not talking about Hind, so talking to anop is hard because she doesn’t speak English. We also have to eat anop -made food that does not always land for me, Jenny says.
Indian traditions, such as touching parents’ legs, sometimes confuses, Jenny admits, but life with a tense atmosphere is worthy of its worth.
“I wouldn’t change a day,” he says.

In the scenes boiling
Many 90 days of the bridal series have become real celebrities in the United States, such as Big to promotewhose fast -paced love life has heated the feelings of viewers.
Jenny and Sumit themselves have seen other couples who participated in the series. The couple is diplomatic when asked about the series and their predictions.
“Let’s just say that there have been all kinds of mixers there,” says Jenny.
They themselves have a calm view of the public.
– We are taken when people come to talk to us and send messages around the world. But right from the start, it was clear to us that we didn’t want to present anything and not pretend to be something, says Sumit.
– It’s wonderful to hear that we have fans in Finland, says Jenny.
Many couples in the series have already resigned, and many people have admitted that they have joined the series in the hope of publicity, not so much for love.
“I love India”
Jenny and Sumit, on the other hand, are one of the few couples in the early seasons of the series that are still together.
Despite all the setbacks, the couple seems genuinely in love. Sumit is caring for Jenny and Jenny, on the other hand, blushes when her husband praises her beautiful. The couple recently celebrated their fourth wedding day with Indian spending.
They were about to stay in Delhi as they both experienced the place.
– I love India, says Jenny.
– It’s so different and fascinating here.
Sumbers gently stroke their wife’s hand and at the same time want to give advice to those seeking genuine love.
– Don’t give up but love to the full. We fought, and now look at us, everything was worth it.
“We always have so nice together,” says the couple in one voice.
