Substitutes Gravenberch and De Ligt make their debut with a monster victory at Bayern Football

At halftime, Bayern already led 5-0. That lead could have been even higher given the amount of opportunities. Matthijs de Ligt, Ryan Gravenberch and Joshua Zirkzee saw Joshua Kimmich open the score from a free kick from the reserve bench in the fifth minute.

Benjamin Pavard doubled the score in the tenth minute. Thomas Müller had the ball halfway through the first half for an empty goal before firing in, but he hit the post. Via the attacker Sadio Mane, who came over from Liverpool, it was still 3-0 within half an hour. Bayern did not spare Frankfurt and Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry went even further out.

French substitute Randal Kolo Muani narrowed the deficit somewhat in the 64th minute, after which Musiala had the last word with his second goal in the 83rd minute. Gravenberch came on in the 57th minute and De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui (another former Ajax player) both in the 82nd minute. Zirkzee remained seated on the couch.
