Subsidy of 1.7 million euros for making farming more sustainable

1.7 million euros is available for farmers in the province of Drenthe to make their business more sustainable. This subsidy from the province of Drenthe is intended for the purchase of installations and machines.

This includes mechanical weed control, water-saving precision irrigation or the processing of compost. Investments that contribute to animal welfare also fall under this scheme, for example through more living space for the animals.

This concerns a maximum of 40 percent of the costs. Farmers under the age of 40 will receive 55 percent reimbursement. All farmers can receive a maximum of 125,000 euros.

The subsidy can be applied for from January 22 to February 12 from the Northern Netherlands Partnership.
