Strike notice of smaller railway union Metispprotect refused, mobility minister calls for dialogue

HR Rail, the legal employer of the railway staff, has refused the strike notice of the small railway union Metispprotect. The union wanted to stop another week at the end of April and at the beginning of May. In a reaction, mobility minister Jean-Luc Crucke (Les Engagés) calls the right to strike “fundamental”, but according to him that must “stay in balance with other rights and responsibilities.”
