Netflix is in exclusive talks to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery’s film and television studios, including its streaming platforms and cable networks such as HBO, CNN, TNT and TBS. Netflix’s offer is $28 per share, higher than both the closing price of $24.54 and Paramount Skydance’s previous offer of almost $24. Warner Bros Discovery received multiple bids this week after a second round of strategic options. Netflix, which is seen as the highest bidder, made an offer that is mainly in cash. Both companies have not yet issued an official statement.
