The weekend ends with some cloud cover, but fortunately some sunshine can still shine through. According to NH weatherman Jan Visser, there will only be some showers in West Friesland. It is dry in the rest of the region for the time being.

Temperatures are between 8 and 9 degrees in the morning, but rise to 13 degrees during the afternoon. There may be a shower in the afternoon, there is also a small chance of hail and thunder. There is a chance of showers again this evening, but it will be dry in the region later in the evening.

Strong wind on the coast

The wind is blowing ‘not too strong’ from the south to southwest, says Visser. Along the coast the wind is strong to quite strong with wind force 6.

The start of the week is a bit wetter. Tomorrow it will be cloudy and there may be drizzle and rain. It will be 13 degrees and the wind will come from the southwest. On the coast the wind is quite strong to strong. In the afternoon the wind with force 7 is quite strong.

Mild temperatures

From Tuesday onwards, according to the weatherman, it will be dry everywhere and the sun can sometimes be seen.

From the middle of the week, winter seems very far away for a while. Temperatures can then rise to 16 degrees. “It’s going to be downright soft,” says Jan Visser.
