Finnish Stella Zhu8, has won European Championship gold in the under-8 girls category at the European Championships in Budva, Montenegro.
The chess association’s press release says that the convincing performances secured the championship even before today’s final round. There were 59 participants in the series.
Zhu made chess history, as it was the first Finnish European championship in the girls’ series.
