Stefano Casagranda, 52 years old, a professional cyclist from 1996 to 2004, died after a long illness. Born in Borgo Valsugana (Trentino) in 1973, he had competed for Mg Boys, Scotti Riso, Friend Chips, Alessio and Saeco, obtaining prestigious victories, such as the stages at the Paris-Nice of 1996, at the Trentino Giro in 1998, on the streets of the house, one of the Vuelta roads, Castilla y Leon in 2000, one of the lap of Denmark in 2001 and one of the Royal Tour in 2002.
