Soul full of heart and energy: The American band St. Paul and the Broken Bones is known for their powerful Southern Soul sound and stands for passionate shows. Her big tour begins on August 17th, her sixth studio album comes on October 10th. In February you can also experience the eight -headed band live in Germany. Presented by Rolling Stone.

The band became known for its retro-inspired Southern Soul, who is particularly borne by front man Paul Janeway’s haunting voice. Since her debut “Half The City” (2014), her sound has continuously developed: from classic soul structures to politically and family -charged topics, to psychedelic excursions, which can be heard on their fourth album “The Alien Coast” (2022). Her last album “Angels in Science Fiction” (2023) was somewhat calmer and moved between retro synthesizer and gentle 70ies soul. With the new, self -titled album, the band now wants to go back to a freer, more instinctive sound. Fans can look forward to a new facet of the characteristic soul foundation Alabama band.
