Sports presenter is happy about new job

She is one of the most popular sports presenters in the country. Now Anna Kraft announced a new engagement that she was able to secure.
The World Cup doesn’t start until summer, but numerous personnel decisions are already casting their shadows. Not just when it comes to the nominations of the national squad. The reporting surrounding the tournament has now become a showcase for mediation greats. Stars of the industry are racing to be part of the sporting event.
One of them is Anna Kraft. The football expert has now announced that she will also be attending the World Cup professionally in the summer. The 40-year-old sports journalist will then work for the MagentaTV broadcaster and report on the world tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada from June 11th to July 19th.
“Now the cat is out of the bag,” Kraft wrote on the social network LinkedIn. “I’ll be able to host live World Cup games again for Magenta TV in the summer. I’m really looking forward to being part of the great team!” Part of this team includes former national soccer players Tabea Kemme, Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller. But also Johannes B. Kerner and Jürgen Klopp.
Kraft’s announcement, however, doesn’t come as a complete surprise. “SportBild” had already indicated in January that the presenter could be at the World Cup for MagentaTV. Kraft had also already covered the World Cup in Qatar in 2022 for the broadcaster.
Kraft will celebrate a special reunion in her commitment on a private level. Because Wolff-Christoph Fuss, the sports presenter’s partner, is also part of the MagentaTV team. However, Kraft will moderate the World Cup games from the studio in Munich-Ismaning while Fuss is in the USA.
Not an unfamiliar situation for both of them. They also appear in front of the camera for different channels and are often in different places. While Fuss comments on the football games on Sky, Kraft has been moderating the football broadcasts on RTL for several years. Kraft recently revealed that their private lives do not suffer from their stressful work. On the contrary: “We see each other more often than other working couples,” Kraft told “SportBild”.
Time is only short on weekends, when the couple’s two children have to go to grandma’s. However, the children would like to be able to see their parents on television. Kraft’s mother also watches her daughter’s performances to see what she’s wearing that day. With Fuss’ mother, however, the motivation is different, says Kraft: “Wolff’s mother [schaut zu]because she wants to know if he arrived safely.”
