In the statement made by the yellow-red club, the following statements were included:
“We condemn in the strongest terms the disrespect, which is incompatible with Galatasaray culture and values, at the member information meeting we held yesterday for Mr. Süleyman Öztürk, who has successfully served the Galatasaray Club and our community for many years. In this context, our board of directors came together today, “As the Board of Directors of Galatasaray Club, we respectfully share that we will not allow such a style to prevail and be accepted in our community.”
Necmeddin Kocataş, in the meeting held with the club members via video conference management, used negative expressions towards Süleyman Öztürk, the late father of Metin Öztürk, who was the manager of Galatasaray Island for many years and was the presidential candidate in the last election.
