Spoon are back – with two singles

Spoon was founded in 1993 in Austin, Texas by singer and guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno. The band is one of the formative names of the indie rock: to this day they have published ten studio albums, four EPS and 26 singles, including “Lucifer on the sofa” from 2022.

Now there has been new music for the first time since “Lucifer on the sofa”. Today at 3 p.m. the two singles “Chateau Blues” and “Guess I’m Falling in Love” appear. Both songs were created in Austin and Rhode Island and, according to the band, have a very own character. Fans of the indie rock band can be excited.

“Usually we are waiting for an album to be finished. This time we thought: the songs are there-so out with them,” says Britt Daniel. The same time Spoon is starting their first US tour for a long time, many appointments with the pixies. This is a highlight for Daniel: “One of the biggest bands ever. We can hardly wait,” says the musician.

“Chateau Blues” and “Guess I’m Falling in Love” will be available on all streaming platforms at 3 p.m.
