Speculations about expulsion: Jürgen Klopp expresses himself

After the capital false start in the Champions League, Jürgen Klopp reacted calmly to the question of a possible expulsion from Liverpool FC.

He “don’t really” believe that his job is in danger, said the Reds team manager on the day of his colleague Thomas Tuchel’s surprise dismissal at Chelsea, “but who knows?”

The difference between the Blues and Liverpool is, however, “that we have different owners,” emphasized Klopp: “Ours are more patient and expect me to solve the problems, not someone else. That’s how they see it. The day they change your mind, maybe tell me…”

The 1: 4 (0: 3) at SSC Napoli made Klopp think. “It looks like we’re going to have to reinvent ourselves,” he said. “There’s a lot of things missing. The funny part is that we have to do that in the middle of a Premier League season and a Champions League season.”

Klopp saw a very poor first half for his team at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. “We’re not playing well enough, that’s clear, that’s obvious and everyone can see it,” said the 55-year-old. It is his job to find solutions.

On Saturday Liverpool meets Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league, on Tuesday they continue in the Champions League against Ajax Amsterdam, then there is a duel at Chelsea. The Reds also got off to a mixed start in the Premier League with nine points from six games.
