Employees of an aviation company in Ostend found the pigeon this morning on the terrace. Not able to fly. After some research work, they find the owner via the Ring. Ceres Bonny, NSAC: “The owner is a 78-year-old man from Sint-Truiden. When I told that the pigeon was in Ostend, he was shocked because it was very far.”

The price pigeon had not come home after a competition in France and has been missing for a week. The employees of NSAC decided to bring the animal back to his owner, not by car, but by plane. “We often have medical flights. We do that for people, for animals too. Today we happened to have an empty plane that had to go to Sint-Truiden. So it was ideal to bring the pigeon back home.”
