Something very unusual happened on Monday February 5. Telstar announces that the club is saying goodbye to trainer Mike Snoei with immediate effect.
The flamboyant coach is in his second period in Velsen-Zuid. He is doing excellently in his first period. In 2018, Snoei secured a ticket for the play-offs, in which De Graafschap proved to be too strong. Coincidentally also the club he leaves for the following season.
Last place
He will return to Schoonenberg sports park in 2022. After an excellent first year (ninth), things didn’t go well in the second year. The low point was the 6-1 defeat at MVV Maastricht and the last place in the rankings.
