Spanish police hunt for human traffickers: 7 arrests after a deadly crossing

The Guardia Civil has arrested seven human traffickers who arrived at the end of last year with a wooden fishing boat with 224 migrants from Senegal on the coast of the Canary Island of El Hierro. Along the way, eight people were killed, including a baby of 14 months and a 50-year-old father and his 18-year-old son. The Spanish OM holds the captains responsible for their death.
