The president of the FIGC: “His enthusiasm and his expertise will be fundamental for the challenges that await Italy”
These are the words of the president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina to give the official signing of Luciano Spalletti as coach of the Italian national team: “Let’s welcome Spalletti – declares the blue number one -, the national team needed a great coach and I am very happy that he accepted the technical guidance of the Azzurri. His enthusiasm and his expertise will be fundamental for the challenges that await Italy in the coming months ”. Roberto Mancini’s replacement at the helm of Italy therefore took place within a few days. The Tuscan coach will take up his role starting from 1 September 2023 and the official presentation will take place on the occasion of the Azzurri’s meeting, scheduled for the first days of September, at the Federal Technical Center in Coverciano
