On the weekend of June 16-18, 2023, the Southside Festival will enter the next round. Also taking part are Kraftklub, Peter Fox, Majan, Trettmann and many other national and international artists (such as Placebo, Billy Talent and Loyle Carner). This article contains all information about the event, which has been taking place at the airfield in Neuhausen ob Eck since 2002.

Tickets for the Open Air are still available. These can in Event online store be bought. The festival pass costs 260 euros and allows access to the event site and the regular campsite. Alternatively, you can buy the “Grüner Wohnen” festival pass, which entitles you to camp in the “green oasis” and for which you also have to pay 260 euros. If you don’t want to stay a whole weekend, you can buy a day pass for Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 120 euros. Extra tickets for the warm-up party can also be purchased for 50 euros.
getting there
By train
If you arrive by train, the Tuttlingen train station must be targeted. The Southside team points out on the website that there may be restrictions on the accessibility of the station. Deutsche Bahn is therefore providing a relief train that festival visitors should use.
Outward journey on Thursday, June 15, 2023 (Stuttgart – Ulm – Tuttlingen, train 26921):

Arrived at Tuttlingen train station, the free shuttle takes you directly to the festival site.
By car
The official address of the event is: take-off business park in 78579 Neuhausen ob Eck. The Southside asks visitors arriving by car to follow festival signage once it begins. The parking spaces will then be assigned.
If you only want to bring visitors to the festival or pick them up from there, you can do so on Tuttlinger Straße in the direction of Neuhausen ob Eck. The parking lot is marked accordingly.
Day parking is also available on the Southside. The vehicle can be parked close to the site for a fee, alternatively there are also free parking spaces in the festival area.
line up
This year’s Southside Festival features a diverse lineup. Hip-hop acts like Loyle Carner, Peter Fox and BHZ are there, as are rock bands like Billy Talent, Queens of the Stone Age and Muse. A complete overview of the line-up can be found on the festival website discover.
Time schedule
At the Open Air on Friday, the main acts will be Queens of the Stone Age at 8:30 p.m. on the Green Stage, followed by Die Ärzte at 10:30 p.m. At the same time as Farin Urlaub & Co., BHZ will demolish the Red Stage.
On Saturdays, Billy Talent perform at 11 p.m. on the Green Stage, at 12.30 a.m. visitors have to move between Kraftklub on the Blue Stage and All colors decide on the White Stage.
The Southside Festival concludes on Sunday muse at 10.30 p.m. on the Green Stage.

The weather
It should be mostly sunny during the festival days and temperatures of up to 25 degrees are possible. However, it could cool down significantly at night, and it is advisable to take a jacket or sweater with you. A 30 percent chance of thunderstorms has also been announced by the German weather service on Sunday.
