South Korea’s unions threaten to strike if President Yoon does not leave

Unions representing workers at some of South Korea’s largest companies have threatened to strike if President Yoon Suk-yeol does not resign. The Korean Trade Union Federation, which has union members at car factories, train companies, public schools and hospitals, has called on its 1.2 million members to strike for “indefinitely” to put pressure on Yoon.
