Somali football referee Artan was not allowed to enter the USA after being stopped at Miami International Airport and was sent back to Istanbul yesterday.
No official statement has yet been made by FIFA and the Somali Football Federation regarding the incident. Artan was chosen as “Africa’s best referee” of 2025.
